The Great Orchestra Of Christmas Charity is one of the biggest, non-governmental, non-profit, charity organizations in Poland. The Great Finale takes place on the first or second Sunday of every new year. It is a one-day long, nationwide, money-raising event. Volunteers from all around Poland go out on the street and collect money in special cans which are labeled with a red heart and text: "Wielka Orkiestra Swiatecznej Pomocy" (Polish for The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity). |
The aim of this year's GOCC is to collect money for “Prevention and early diagnosis of cancer in children”. We have also donated to this lofty charity.

This shocking information You can read on the Polish UNICEF website. In the country with taking your breath away views a child dies every single minute because of the malnutrition which is a major children’s health problem. We don’t accept such a kind of "paradise on earth" in the contemporary world!
Therefore, we touched by the misery of children decided to support the "To children's rescue in Congo" action under the patronage of a famous polish actress Małgorzata Foremniak and provide the financial help. We really hope that thanks to us some “black minutes” will turn into smiles on faces of saved children. We also encourage all our clients to support children in Congo. Every single help is indispensable!
We have finished our bigger project - the total renovation of houses in Vordingborg. Some results of our work You can see on the owner's website www.orestrandparkaps.dk.
